The Portland Hotel Quality, no nonsense hotel with quiet, modern & comfortable en-suite rooms, all of which have been recently refurbished. The hotel is by the sea and is within walking distance of the Town Centre. The popular Skuba Bar with its sun terrace and garden overlooking the sea, is perfect for socialising or for just a quiet drink savouring the sea views. The Thai restaurant is renowned for its cuisine and quality of service. At lunch time Thai food is served in the bar along with an alternative 'English' selection. The alternative menu is available in the evenings however pre-ordering is preferred. Breakfast is continental style however we will do our best to cater for any special requests. Being a smaller hotel, we have no dedicated reception and guests are asked to book in at the bar where our staff will guide you to your room and take note of any special requirements.
