The Black Horse Inn at Shipston-on-Stour is conveniently situated central to many attractions in the Midlands. Dating back to the 12th century, this beautiful Olde Worlde building has a thatched roof and original beamed ceilings.

Improvements have recently been made to the inn, including a lovely non-smoking dining room, where we serve delicious home-cooked, mainly English food, freshly prepared and cooked to order. We also offer a good selection of traditional hand-pulled ales. In the summer you can enjoy our award-winning gardens, both at the front and rear of this wonderful old thatched pub, whereas in the winter we have lovely large, open log fires. Whilst being located in the town we still maintain the atmosphere of a village pub, with very friendly locals... and a resident ghost.
