New Inn Hotel The New Inn is set in the magnificent Yorkshire Dales National Park with its dramatic peaks, delightful dales, rivers, waterfalls and caves and situated in the centre of the charming village of Clapham. The New Inn has been our home since 1987, during which time we have lovingly and carefully refurbished with a fine blend of old and new to retain the characteristics of this eighteenth century coaching inn where you will experience a warm and friendly welcome. In the Main Bar can be seen a collection of caving cartoons by Jim Eyre one of the local early cave explorers. In the Lounge Bar are many tapestries all done by Barbara and several New Inn themed cartoons by Lakes cartoonist Ken Mosley.
