The Inn On The Hill Highest Inn in Cornwall - Wake up to the wide open spaces in the ruggesd charm of Bodmin Moor. Built in 1850 the property is in an ideal location for exploring Bodmin Moor and touring Cornwall. The Wheal Tor Hotel is sited in two acres of woodland on the rugged slopes of Caradon Hill. It is the Highest Inn in Cornwall set in this remote location on the eastern edge of Bodmin Moor. From here there are magnificent views towards both Dartmoor to the east and the Cornish coastlines to the south and west. The cosy bar with its log burner and non-smoking restaurant are popular with the locals. These are situated in the main house and offer the most spectacular views over Bodmin moor. We offer guests a welcoming haven with a varied menu and a well stocked bar set in a friendly and relaxing environment.However please note our restaurant is closed on a Monday and Tuesday night but we can normally provide a meal if required.PLEASE ALSO NOTE OUR RESTAURANT WILL BE CLOSED 20TH FEBRUARY THROUGH TO 27TH FEBRUARY AND DURING THIS TIME WE CAN ONLY PROVIDE BED ONY RATES.
