Newburgh Guesthouse Ideally situated within Torquays premier tourist accommodation area of Belgravia, a short level walk to the beach, Riviera conference centre, and Torquay's town centre. conservation area of Belgravia, where a warm welcome awaits our guests both old and new. Located in a quiet road directly off of the Belgrave Road, at the seafront end, you will find the Newburgh nestled in amongst a short terrace of early Victorian properties. Approximately 280 mtrs from the beach, a reasonably level walk,and approximately 90 metres from the Riviera centre, and a few minutes more to the town and Torquay's fabulous Harbour. Dartmoor, and the beautiful South Devon coastline are there to be discovered, a few minutes drive away. The Newburgh previously benefited from the English Tourism Association Two Diamonds award. Now under new management, and having recently undergone a refurbishment, completed in January 2005, the English Tourism Association award has been re-applied for, and we have now been awarded 'a good' English Tourism Association Three Diamond award in February 2005, with a score of 64% (to obtain a three diamond rating you are required to reach a score of between 50-69%).
