The Queens Hotel The hotel was newly built and opened in the Millennium and is situated on the banks of the river Ouse. The recently refurbished hotel is right at the heart of the vibrant City of York. The station and all the many tourist attr... The station and all the many tourist attractions are only a few minutes walk. The Queens Hotel York England is one of the most central hotels in York, with quality hotel accommodation at affordable prices. Although some of rates are on a room only basis, our Restaurant is open daily for breakfast from 7.30 am until 9.30 am Monday - Friday, and 10.30 am on weekends, you are more than welcome to join us for breakfast. Dinner is also available from 6.00pm until 9.00pm every day. Car Parking limited at the Hotel and chargeable @ 10.00 per night, you must book a space direct with the Hotel prior to arrival. If our car park is fully booked there is an alternative chargeable (12.00 per 24 hours) public car park 200 yards from the Hotel. There are parking restrictions on the street and the river bank outside the Hotel. Every year Viking warriors race their long boats right outside the Queens Hotel. No other hotel in York can provide such a favourable location to enjoy the medieval York battle. River View Rooms should be requested but are not guaranteed and are chargeable @ 5.00 per night. April & May 2005 - Essential maintenance work being carried out to the outside of the Hotel - Monday - Fridays's 8.30am - 5.00pm.
