Heworth Court is a highly recommended hotel, with an excellent reputation for food and wine in the Lamplight Restaurant, which caters for residents, and regular non-residents alike. A short walk from York Minster (1km), the hotel is located in the City of York, and has ample parking for all of it's residents, with often additional spaces available for non-resident diners. The private car park is located to the rear of the main property, and also in front and to the rear of Sutherland House - which is a superb late-Georgian building two doors away. The car parks operate secure cctv. The Smith family have a wealth of experience in the hotel industry, and aim to make your stay in York as enjoyable as possible. Heworth Court Hotel was established in 1984, but the family started hotel life in 1976.
